Analysis of the Market Demand for High-End Hydraulic Components
For a long time, China has been heavily reliant on imports for high-end hydraulic components used in construction machinery, resulting in substantial profits being siphoned off by imported parts. Even more seriously, these imported hydraulic components are largely supplied by just one or two foreign companies. This not only leaves us dependent on others but also undermines the construction machinery industry’s capacity for independent innovation and jeopardizes the industrial security of the sector. Moreover, it hampers the development of the hydraulic industry itself. Therefore, addressing the longstanding reliance on imports for high-end hydraulic components in construction machinery is one of the key tasks during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. To effectively implement the “12th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Basic Mechanical Components, Basic Manufacturing Processes, and Basic Materials Industry”—commonly referred to as the “Three-Basis Plan”—and to resolve the issue of high-end hydraulic components in construction machinery...

Practical Power Launches New Marine Hydraulic Drive Products
At the recently held 11th China Dalian International Maritime Exhibition, Practical Power Group (China) Industrial Co., Ltd. launched two new hydraulic products aimed at China’s shipbuilding industry: an integrated electro-hydraulic actuator and a combined multi-way hydraulic power unit. It is reported that the integrated electro-hydraulic actuator is powered by either AC or DC motors, which drive hydraulic pumps and cylinders to generate linear motion. The motor’s rotation enables both extension and retraction functions, with a maximum output force ranging from 2.5 to 165 kilonewtons. The combined multi-way hydraulic power unit is primarily driven by an AC motor, while a DC motor, a backup pump, and a manual pump are used as emergency power sources.

More compact: Rexroth’s new hydraulic motor reduces in length by 26%.
With even more powerful performance and a smaller installation footprint, Bosch Rexroth’s brand-new A2FM70 series swashplate hydraulic motors meet the increasingly stringent demands of construction machinery manufacturers—particularly well-suited for applications in concrete mixer trucks. This motor achieves an outstanding power density while reducing its length by 26%. Additionally, Bosch Rexroth has introduced two new extra pressure levels for this series, enabling the new motors to not only handle typical operating conditions at 350 bar but also excel in heavy-duty applications, reaching pressures as high as 500 bar. Compared to the 61 series, Rexroth’s new 70 series swashplate motors feature three...

The bearing industry has achieved steady and relatively rapid development. The entire industry has earnestly implemented the “Plan for Adjusting and Revitalizing the Equipment Manufacturing Industry,” accelerated the transformation of its economic growth model, and focused on restructuring both product and market portfolios. Starting from the second half of 2009, the industry began to emerge from its trough, stabilize, and rebound, ultimately achieving relatively rapid growth in 2010. According to statistics from the China Bearing Industry Association, in 2010, the bearing industry’s main business revenue reached 126 billion yuan, an increase of 36.96% over the 92 billion yuan recorded in 2009; bearing production totaled 15 billion sets, up 36.36% from the 11 billion sets produced in 2009; and the industrial value-added amounted to 36 billion yuan, higher than the figure for 2009.
